Vertical Gallery Chicago: Deck The Halls! Skateboard Deck Convey
A massive skate deck show for the holidays opening November 16 with 20% of proceeds to Chicago-based non-profit The Simple Good.
Chicago, IL – October 30, 2013 – Vertical Gallery is proud to present Deck the Halls, a group art show with all work on skateboard decks. The show will feature 50 local, national and international artists and the gallery will have over 80 skate decks available for sale. And what they plan as an annual tradition, 20% of all proceeds will be donated to Chicago-based non-profit The Simple Good.
“We have received a very positive response to our gallery since we opened in April”, said Patrick Hull, owner of Vertical Gallery. “This show allows us to work with a great number of talented artists, and provides the perfect opportunity to support a local non-profit.”
Vertical Gallery approached Uprise Skate Shop to assist in picking native artists to take part, and the gallery reached out to different nationwide and global artists.
