White Mystery Band At Euporium
Decided to step out for the eventing and check out a bit of wicker park randomness. Right before we left realized that we had one not been to Eurphorim and that video & group White Mystery Band was worth going to see and the free drinks helped sway us. We got there early expecting a massive line around the block because everyone loves free shit but this wasn’t the case its almost as if the world slept on this one. I mean considering it was over 600 people confirmed via DO312.COM we came out expecting the worst from a documenting perspective which normally includes, rude people bumping into you, drinks being spilled on some part of us, knocking people over with our camera bag etc. Euphorium was half full and the drinks where flowing due to the fast attentive staff, cant even front we were feeling pretty good as we chilled with our creative colleagues playing catch up and discussing future business endeavors. As we where at the bar we over heard a convo between the promoter & the GM we think, apparently they oinly anticipated 50 ppl and it packed out eventually so they were going to kill the free-ness. After which had to alert the posse this was going down…after a few rounds of marvel vs capcom (dear iron man fuck your photon cannon lol) we decideed to roll out. Euphorim is a pretty rad place we thought it would be more Tron Arcade style (movie reference) with like tons of games but they do have some classics and that plus free drinks we can’t be mad at that. Good times go check it out at 1366 North Milwaukee Avenue Chicago, IL 60622

White Mystery is the two-piece brother/sister duo of Miss Alex White and Francis White. If you’re a fan of stripped down garage rock, loud drums, and/or redheads, meet your perfect match. Alex is best known as the guitar rockin’ front women of Miss Alex White and the Red Orchestra on In the Red Records, and with her latest venture she strips it down to a guitar and heavy-handed drum garage rock sound. The twosome put on an energetic show, and their ChicaGoGo appearance boasts “the most killer tambourine and guitar rock out” on local television according to Gapers Block. Their limited edition HoZac Hook Up Club single debut “Power Glove” is already sold out, and a full length album is on the way.
