The Lost Girls








The Lost Girls Vintage Debut at Paperish Mess was a networking success. We arrived around 7:30 to see Sarah of The Lost Girls turning around Winnie (short for Winnebago) so it could face against traffic on the other side of the street which definitely drew the attention of passing patrons last Friday evening as the sun set. Winnie a bright orange RV with Charlie brown like wavy lines painted on the side decorated with patio lights is the mobile store for Lost Girls Vintage. Lost Girls Vintage is a Chicago-based mobile vintage boutique housed in a 1970s RV, popping up around the city and around the country. Lost Girls specializes in vintage clothing/accessories for men and women, with an emphasis on wearable pieces – think fun patterns, bright colors, and unique details. Kyla of TLG introduced herself and gave us a run down on what was going on as Sarah the birthday girl was getting her hair done in the back. Not knowing anyone initially we strolled through the venue to check out the store. Paperish Mess is a brand new storefront artwork gallery positioned in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village nearby. Paperish Mess is a retail house showcasing authentic paintings in quite a lot of mediums and kinds, in addition to handmade items and wares with the aid of unbiased artists. The save incorporates art work, prints, & fashion designer wears from lots of native designers making it looks like an artwork museum of ingenious goodness. The house owners are lovely Rad and definately the kind of indie trade homeowners we reside to fulfill and community with. After doing a stroll thru grabbing one of the most tasty mango sangria and some bites of fondue we began having a look intimately on the art work instore, to assert the least they’ve nice atste in artist. After assembly The Misplaced Ladies, the homeowners of Paperishmess & Ginger Snaps Media, our good friend Thriftaholic, Inc. presentations up and we laughed our asses off about a number of randomness. The night time ended with a cheerful birthday to Sarah of TLG who had a sexy rattling cool cake BTW and a farewell to all of our new friends.
